He took out his good chopping knife from its protective sleeve and chopped the ends off a large yellow onion, peeled it, the chopped it in half lengthwise and slived it into half-moon slices. Those were layered in the bottom of the casserole dish. The pork was next, the packaging removed carefully, sliced into flat strips the length of the baking dish, layered carefully. Then the entire stuff was dusted with paprika and a little jerk seasoning, and a half cup of chicken broth poured in. Then he added a few squirts of barbecue sauce. "Most of this gets added after its done and I shred it up. But that's it. Now we just bake it at 400 til it falls apart." He clapped a lid on it, and put it in the oven.
